How to Find Silica Pearls Fast in Ark Ascended: Scorched Earth

Not all that glistens is gold, sometimes it’s silica. Here’s how to find Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended: Scorched Earth.

Best Farming Spot for Silica Pearls in Ark Survival Ascended: Scorched Earth

Silica Pearls are good for more than their beautiful luster. They’re essential for crafting the low-level desert armor piece, Desert Goggles and Hat. But more importantly, Silica Pearls are needed for Electronics, which are at the core of your power generator and any high-tech item that you can craft after level 49.

Fortunately, finding Silica Pearls is as easy as taking a stroll by the riverbed. To find silica pearls fast in Ark Ascended: Scorched Earth, go to the river at night. More precisely, head to the coordinates 27.3, 51.5. If you do, you’ll find yourself at the base of a large waterfall, which pours into one of the deepest sections of the riverbed. This is the area with the highest concentration of silica pearls.

But to find these pearls, you’ll need to wait until night. At night, the pearls will give off an incandescent sparkle that will make it much easier to see from shore or from slightly above. This will let you dive for them. You don’t need any tools while you’re getting pearls this way, just forage them like normal. But beware of the coelacanth that are lurking in the water!

Alternatively, you can try to find them at the second waterfall, a little south. The coordinates of this location are 31.9, 51.2. However, I find that there are fewer silica pearls here. There’s also the chance of finding pearls near an oasis. But because it can be difficult to find oases in the dunes with enough water, it’s much faster and more efficient to use the two spots outlined above.

Additionally, these spots are absolutely choked with flowers, which is great if you’re trying to get silk. Or perhaps you need crystal instead?
