How to find resin in Towers of Aghasba

During your early hours of Towers of Aghasba, players will be tasked to gather resources for the establishment of the first farming village. One of the materials required for this is Resin, which isn’t immediately available in the surrounding area. Here is how you can gather Resin in Towers of Aghasba and establish the starting village.
Resin in Towers of Aghasba
Resin is one of the materials that can be dropped from chopped trees, but not every tree drops it. You’ll need fresh trees in the vicinity of a Colossal Tree to produce Resin. So we’ll need to learn how to plant some trees if we’re going to collect Resin the easy way.
After being tasked to gather materials by Culkin for the construction of the first farming village, don’t waste your time looking for Resin by chopping down different Pastu trees, but instead head over to meet Pawel, the farming expert.
Pawel will provide players with a Starter King Tree seed, which you can use to plant a Colossal Tree.
Once a Colossal Tree has been planted, new trees can be planted using Temperate Seeds, and some will automatically appear in its perimeter.
Once you have a Colossal tree perimeter set up, you can now chop down trees to get Resin.
How to chop down trees in Towers of Aghasba
Chopping trees is pretty simple in Towers of Aghasba, and you’ll need a simple stone hatchet. This won’t chop down every tree, but the few in the opening area can be dealt with using it. The Stone Hatchet requires a few basic materials to craft, and these can be found on the ground, and in bushes.

Once crafted, you can approach most trees, and press E to chop.
You don’t need to chop down specific trees to get Resin, as a Slim Tree above dropped it as well. However, “Dead” trees don’t drop it, and will only drop wood. If you want to plant more trees in the Temperate biome, simply plant the Temperate seeds in the Colossal Tree’s perimeter, and a tree will sprout after a small period, giving you a higher chance of obtaining Resin.
Early use for Resin in Towers of Aghasba
Once acquired, you can head back to Culkin, and give him Resin along with a few more materials to complete the construction of the first farming village.
