The expansion adds one new stage called Ode to Castlevania located at the bottom of the stage selection. Players will have to find the map item in the stage before they can get the layout of the castle.

The map can be found just southwest of the player’s starting location. There will be a large group of trees with seemingly no entrance. However, there is a secret path into the trees in the middle of the south end. Just follow the thin dirt path until it points into the trees, then walk through for the secret passage and the map.

With the map in hand, the first coffin can be found right at the beginning of the castle. Players do not even have to enter the castle to get anything beforehand.

Just walk east from the player’s starting spawn on the dirt path. The coffin will be just slightly north of the entrance to the drawbridge. Simply walk into the coffin to open it. There are no bosses or giant enemies to fight from opening the coffin, so this can be done right at the start of the run with no worries about leveling up.

The coffin will open up, give a cheeky Super Mario Bros. reference, and then unlock Leon Belmont as a playable character. Players can then end the run safely and the challenge will be done.
