How to Find All Cinder’s Cradle Shroud Roots in Enshrouded

Enshrouded 1.0 added the Cinder’s Cradle biome, and with it come new Shroud Roots to farm for skill points. Cinder’s Cradle has twelve Shroud Roots for you to find, each rewarding one Skill Point when destroyed. These roots are scattered across the region, including around Proto Vessel Bay, Andromeda’s Eye, and the Celestium Mining Site. Here are their locations.

All Cinder’s Cradle Shroud Root Locations

There are twelve Shroud Roots in Cinder’s Cradle. You can use the following landmarks to locate each one:

Note: The official 1.0 announcement specifies 12 Shroud Roots in Cinder’s Cradle. But the actual biome has only nine; the remaining three are on the borders between Cinder’s Cradle and other biomes.

The roots around Proto Vessel Bay and Andromeda’s Eye are relatively close to one another, so it’s worth collecting them in groups. You can then move toward the other landmarks to find the remaining roots.

How to Destroy Shroud Roots in Enshrouded

Before heading out, make sure you have a Felling Axe in your inventory. Shroud Roots are treated like trees, so you need this tool to destroy them.

Once you find a root, approach it and use your axe until it breaks. You’ll receive one Skill Point for destroying it for the first time with your character.

How Many Skill Points Can You Get From Cinder’s Cradle Shroud Roots?

Destroying all twelve Shroud Roots in Cinder’s Cradle rewards 12 Skill Points in total. Unlike several other regions in Enshrouded, Cinder’s Cradle has no Elixir Wells, so there are no additional Skill Points to earn from those locations here.

If you’re trying to maximize your character’s build, these roots are worth tracking down. Every Skill Point gives you another opportunity to improve your combat abilities, survivability, or movement skills before tackling the toughest encounters in Enshrouded.
