How to Get Lots of Gold Fast in Palworld (Best Gold Farming Method)

The fastest gold farm in Palworld isn’t Maus. It’s the Black Marketeer. This high-level NPC drops 20,900 to 26,000 Gold and two Gold Keys each time he’s killed. And it’s possible to take him down even if you’re low level. Here’s everything you need to do to kill (and keep killing) the Black Marketeer and become Palworld’s first millionaire.

There are over half a dozen Black Marketeers in Palworld. But the Black Marketeer we’ll be tackling for this gold farm is the Eastern Wild Island Black Marketeer, found at the coordinates 549, -103.

Tip:

The white star on the left is where the Black Marketeer is. The white star on the right is where you’ll need to go to respawn him. Run back and forth between these points. Having markers on your map will make it easier to navigate at the start.

To get to him, head to the Eastern Wild Island waypoint. Then head west until you hit the path. Once you do, keep going west and you’ll find the Black Marketeer in a cave recessed into the cliff wall. He’s very easy to find during the night, as his cave is very lit up.

The Black Marketeer is level 40 at this location. But that’s okay. Our method will prevent him from attacking at all. First, you’ll need the Hanging Trap, which you can unlock in your Technology Menu at level 4. It requires 10 wood and 5 stone.

While wood is plentiful around the Black Marketeers’ location, you’ll need to hunt for stone. So it’s a good idea to have as much of it as possible on you before you start this farm, just for efficiency’s sake. Once you’ve found the Black Marketeer, open your build menu and select the Hanging Trap.

Be very careful to ensure that the loop on the ground is as near as possible to the Black Marketeer’s feet. If you’ve done this correctly, once you build the Hanged Trap, the Black Marketeer will immediately be strung up. Once he is, he can’t attack. And that means you can whittle his health away at your leisure.

I’ve noticed that when he’s in the trap, the Black Marketeer won’t die. But he will drop his loot of gold and gold keys. Once they drop, get on your mount. I highly recommend the Fenglope as the fastest ground mount, but the nearby Eikthyrdeer is also fine.

Once you’re on your mount, follow the trail east until you get past the ore and to the spot where the path is flanked by moss-covered stones. Once you’ve hit this spot, you can turn around and go back to the Black Marketeer. He should have respawned, and he’ll no longer be in his trap. He won’t be hostile, either.

Set up your hanged trap at his feet again and just wash and repeat, killing him over and over to farm that sweet gold. Don’t worry, he doesn’t mind. You can always still trade with him after he respawns.
