You’ll first need to complete the introductory mission, which pits you up against an overpowered AH12 HC helicopter that can take you out with ease. Once you have mastered that, you’ll get your first few Sorties. Within the first few missions that you partake in, Grid 135 Cleanup should be your priority. Once this mission has been completed, you can revisit it at any time, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do here.

Access the Replay Mission section in Sortie, and select Grid 135 Cleanup. Before you embark on this journey, however, you’re going to need to stock up on a few particular weapons. You can either grind this mission, as it’s one of the easiest in the game, or you can continue in the story until you have unlocked these weapons.

You’ll want to outfit your mech with the following weapons:

  • Right & Left Hands – RF-024 TURNER
  • Right & Left Back – BML-G1/P20MLT-04

Now that you’ve been equipped with two machine guns and two backstrapped rocket launchers, launch into the mission once again. Once you have access to the room, get to work on eliminating all of the enemies once again. As you repeat this process, you’ll find that it becomes easier and easier to memorize their locations, letting you clear the mission faster every time.

Each time you complete this mission, you should obtain anywhere from 50 to 60 thousand Coam. This mission should only take a few minutes to complete, so you’ll be ready to get near one million Coam or more in an hour. This will allow you to unlock just about anything you may need, and if you continue farming for hours, you’ll likely be set for the majority of the game.
