How to Farm Argon Crystals in Warframe

A beautiful mineral, if a bit annoying to farm.

Warframe has no end to the amount of resources that you can farm out in the wild. Some are much simpler to farm thousands of, like Nano Spores, while some are far more difficult, such as Orokin Cells. You’ll need to farm just about all of them if you want to make it far in the game though, with one unique resource being a frequently used but rare find. Here’s how to farm Argon Crystals in Warframe.

Where to Farm Argon Crystals in Warframe

Before we begin, there’s an important note about Argon Crystals that should be noted before farming these. Argon Crystals are the one resource in the game that you can’t realistically stockpile for use down the line. The math behind it can be a little confusing, but Argon Crystals will decay after a very short period of time. As such, you want to only collect them when you need them and use them ASAP. That way, you don’t need to go back and farm even more.

With that out of the way, let’s look at where you should farm these. Argon Crystals spawn almost exclusively in the Void, so the best place to find them will be there. As far as missions go, it will depend on what you prefer doing. If you prefer getting Argon Crystals as a drop from enemies, then we suggest running the missions Teshub, Ani, or Mot as they’re all focused on merely getting kills. If you’d rather explore the tileset and open crates for them (or find their dedicated resource container in the wild) then your best bet are the capture missions of Hepit and Ukko.
