Sneaking throughout the lands of Baghdad will provide you with plenty of information on your quest for knowledge, but knowing how to sneakily listen in on conversations that you may not normally be a part of is key in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. As you progress through the main story and even partake in some of the side content available, you may be tasked with listening in on a conversation going on between NPCs that can give you key information to complete your mission. But how exactly do you go about partaking in this activity?

How To Listen Into Conversations in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

If you’re hoping to sneak around and get some extra information from NPCs that have the eavesdrop icon above their head, you’ll need to do a few things. Firstly, you’ll need to ensure that you are completely anonymous, so make sure that there is no red or yellow eye on the screen. After that happens, you’ll want to find a spot to hide and blend it. As long as you have the familiar white outline around you, you’ll just need to make sure that you’re inside the large ring that is shown in your Eagle Vision. If you have forgotten, Eagle Vision can be activated by pressing left on the D-Pad.

Once you have completed the steps above, just move your camera toward the NPC’s and click on the Right Thumbstick (R3) to start eavesdropping. You’ll know that it was a success once you are locked into a cutscene to start learning more about your upcoming mission. Once you have heard everything you need to, you’ll be ready to embark on the next leg of your adventure.

No matter if you’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed for years or you’re jumping into the series with Mirage, be sure that you’re ready for anything with our section below. From learning what language you should play the game in to finding out where you can get the ledger, we’ve got you covered on your budding adventure.
