This means, that people in Australia and New Zealand will get to play the game first, whereas folks in California, Alaska, and Hawaii are going to have to wait… UNLESS there’s trickery that will allow you to play the game earlier. How to Play Hogwarts Legacy Earlier Before (Mostly) Everyone Else on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S

Sadly, PC players are left out of this scheme, so let’s see how you can play Hogwarts Legacy a bit earlier on PS5 and Xbox.

PS5 players are going to go through hell and back for this option. Due to the regional limitations of PlayStation, you need to make a brand new account for yourself and set it to New Zealand, and then buy Hogwarts Legacy there. Is it really worth the time to skip to have another account and keep logging between two accounts whenever you want to play Hogwarts Legacy, and something else in your library? Probably not.

Xbox players are going to have it much easier this time around:
From your console, go to Settings -> System -> Language & location and from a drop-down menu, select English (New Zealand). Voila! You are magically on the other side of the planet now, in the eyes of the system.
