The largest addition to Fortnite in Chapter 4 Season 2 is certainly MEGA City, the cyberpunk-themed POI with tons of structures and verticality to explore. This area is the centerpiece of the fresh map changes that you’ll see when you load up the game in the new season.

Like every other season, there are some challenges that players can complete to kick off the weekly progress and earn some XP. One quest tasks players in Fortnite with discovering named locations near MEGA City, and in this guide, we’ll cover exactly what that means with no issues at all.

Fortnite Chapter 4 – How to Discover Named Locations Near MEGA City

This quest asks for a total of three named locations to be explored in order to check off the completion. It just so happens that three additional POIs were added in the new section of the map, not counting the new cyberpunk city. That means we need to simply explore those new areas.

If you’ve already unlocked the rest of the map from last season in Fortnite, then the Chapter 4 Season 2 map will show you exactly where to go. The new areas will be covered in grey and question marks in the southeast section of the map, including MEGA City. You don’t technically need to discover the new city, but it’s an easy place to start.

All three named locations will surround the city, and these POIs are Steamy Springs, Kenjutsu Crossing, and Knotty Nets. As long as you get close enough, the color of the map will fill in and progress will be made on the quest. You’ll have plenty of time to get this done, so enjoy discovering named locations near MEGA City in Fortnite while you can.
