How to Disable Motion Blur in Tower of Fantasy (Easy Way)

Community delivers once again!

Motion blur is one of those settings that people love or hate, and is often a topic of discussion on many different gaming forums. Some people say that it great for “hiding” graphics issues when you are rapidly looking around, some say that it helps the game feel more realistic, and finally, some people say that it helps people who have motion sickness from gaming. Whatever the case may be for and against motion blur, based on the discussions we’ve seen, we feel that most people just want to disable it in every game they come across.

Where to Disable Motion Blur in Tower of Fantasy

You’re probably reading this guide because you do not see the motion blur option within the PC Video Settings in Tower of Fantasy. Worry not, though, as it’s an easy fix – if you’re on PC, anyway. User Maharanji from Reddit is to be thanked for this discovery.

Make sure that post-processing is set to LOW in your Video settings first. Then, go to your file manager and find the Engine.ini file within the folder:

C:\Users\(YOUR PC NAME HERE)\AppData\Local\Hotta\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

If you do not see the AppData in File Explorer, click the View card and tick off the “Hidden Items” checkbox on the right. Then, open the Engine.ini file with Notepad, Notepad++, WordPad, or any other text editor.

When you open the file, you’ll see “[Core.System]” at the start. It’s a sign that you’re on the right track. Now move down to the end of the file and add the following lines by hitting Enter to open a new line and then copy-pasting this text:

[SystemSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.MotionBlur=0

After this is done, save the file and run the game. Voila!
