How To Craft Armor And Weapons In Sun Haven

It's dangerous to go alone, take this!

Before heading off into the forest, it’s strongly recommended to get yourself suited up with some decent armor in Sun Haven. These early hours can be brutal, especially if you’re still learning the ropes. I didn’t find myself in the hospital far too many times to count when I first started, no sir. But, if you’re looking to avoid the same mistakes this other mystery player besides myself made, getting your hands on some Armor and Weaponry is rather simple, you’re just going to need to invest some time. Let’s find out how to craft some great new equipment for ourselves in Sun Haven.

When you first start your journey in Sun Haven, you’re given two things: a house and a crafting table. Well, and some Rusty Tools, but you can upgrade those later. When opening the Crafting Table, you’ll find a fair number of things that you’re able to create, but for those interested in becoming a master Smithy, you’ll need the Anvil. This is created by taking four Copper Bars and tossing them on the table, so you can start hammering away.

Where can you get Copper Bars, though? There are a few options available. If you speak to Solon near the Mines, you can purchase them directly from him, but they’re going to be a little pricey. But, what is a small price to pay when you can start making some impressive new armor, weapons, and equipment?

If you have created the Forge, which can be created for 10 Wood Planks and 8 Copper Ore, you can smelt your own copper bars at home. Stick it to the man this way, and don’t pay those outrageous prices. It’s great to support local businesses, but sometimes it’s a little out of the budget. You can find plenty of copper ore inside of the Mines next to Solon’s Shop, so you may as well make it happen this way.

Once you have created the Anvil, it’ll be time to start making the armor of your dreams. For those just starting, the Copper Set is going to be one of the easiest to create, as you’ll just need to gather up a total of 13 Copper Bars to make this happen. If you have the ore to make it happen, you can save a lot of money this way.

You’ll also be able to create basic weapons, like a Copper Sword this way. Instead of paying vendors the coin, break into the DIY spirit and make one of your own. Or, if you’ve happened to come across any Iron Ore, you can create Iron Armor and Weapons at this very same anvil. The choice is yours, but we at least recommend getting some Copper Armor to start on your new combat adventures.

Since you can claim a free weapon after finishing combat training, I would recommend that you take the Crossbow so you can get comfortable with the combat in Sun Haven, especially now that you know how to make some weapons of your own. You can’t create a Crossbow on the Anvil, so take what you can get for free.

Now that you’re ready to head out into the woods either on your own or with a friend, you’ll want to ensure that you’ve checked out our Sun Haven section below to get even more helpful tips that could make this experience something great for a date night with your favorite person.
