How to Craft a Parachute in Palworld

Glide away now

Survival games always have that cool glider you can take for faster travels across the world. That’s the Parachute for Palworld, and this is one of the first things you should look for crafting as soon as you have the resources as it makes traveling much more satisfying.

Where to Get the Parachute Glider in Palworld

You can craft the Normal Parachute after reaching Level 5 and learning it through the Technology skill tree. It requires 10 Wood and 2 Cloth to make it, so it isn’t that hard to get. Wood is obtained from trees with your bare fists or by cutting them down with axes, while Cloth can be made with 2 Wools on the Primitive Workbench and its upgrades.

Once you’re done with the quick craft, you’ll automatically equip the Parachute. When jumping, press Space on Keyboard (or A on Xbox controllers) to open the parachute, which lets you glide for a while instead of simply falling to your death. Not only does this help you a ton while exploring new areas, but it’ll also save you from certain death.

Be aware that you still consume Stamina while gliding, so if you haven’t leveled enough Stamina on your character, you won’t be able to glide for long. The stat is quite useful for the early game, so you should definitely invest some points in it as soon as you can.

The name “Normal Parachute” implies the existence of an improved version, and it does exist. Unfortunately, the Giga Glider is only unlocked at Technology Level 40. So yeah, it might take you a good while before you can get that one. But don’t worry as the regular version should be enough to carry you for the large majority of your adventure.

With a parachute in hand, reaching out those faraway minerals such as Paldium Fragments will be easier than ever, so craft it as soon as possible for maximum comfort on your travels.
