How to Complete Mired in the Muck in Tears of the Kingdom

This is an oil spill lawsuit in the making

As you climb the mountains close to the Zora’s Domain, you’ll eventually reach the Skyview Tower. And there, a poor fish man stuck in some muck. Naturally, it falls to Link to help. Here’s how to complete Mired in the Muck in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Complete Mired in the Muck in Tears of the Kingdom

There’s no shortage of people who are desperately in need of your help in TotK. Without Link, I’m pretty sure everyone would be dead before they hit 30.

That’s truly the case with Bazz, a Zora who’s made it to the Upland Zorana Skyview Tower and… immediately got caught in muck. Pretty sure he’d die there without some intervention, so let’s help him out.

And just in case, if you’re here because you heard of the quest but don’t know it’s location, head to coordinates 2858, 0582, 0379.

As for the quest itself, completing Mired in the Muck in Tears of the Kingdom is pretty straightforward.

  • Pull out your arrow with “zr”.
  • Press up on your d-pad to attach a Splash Fruit.
  • Shoot the muck that’s surrounding Bazz.
  • The muck will then disintegrate, freeing Bazz.

Doing so will clear up the muck with one easy shot. Naturally, Bazz is very thankful and will give you a Zora Spear (6) for your trouble.

If you’re not sure how to get Splash Fruit, there’s actually plenty on the very mountain where you meet Bazz. Go down the path and keep an eye out for bushes with yellow leaves and blue fruits. Splash Fruit spawns in threes, so you should soon have plenty. In my one excursion up the mountain, I found 21.

While the Zora Kingdom might be right next door, Rito Village is a little farther. Check out the path there with this guide: How to Get to Rito Village in Tears of the Kingdom.
