Hunting monsters is an all-year occupation in Monster Hunter Wilds and the monsters themselves are affected by the time of the day and the current weather. Here is how to change seasons and time in Monster Hunter Wilds.
How to Change Seasons in Monster Hunter Wilds

Monster Hunter Wilds players can change the season of the world from the Rest option by visiting a Base Camp or pop-up camp. Players will have access to this option after finishing the main story.
While in the camp tent, go to the BBQ Menu tab and select the Rest option. To change the season, you will then need to select the Environment drop-down menu. This will give players several kinds of weather to choose from:
- No Change: Season remains the same
- Plenty: More docile monsters will roam around
- Fallow: More predatory monsters will appear
- Inclemency: Storms ravage the land
Confirming the new season will cost 300 Guild Points each time, which can be quite costly when jumping through multiple seasons. However, players will only have to make one payment when choosing both season and time at once.
How to Change Time in Monster Hunter Wilds
Players are also able to change the time of the world by using the Rest option after visiting a Base Camp or pop-up camp. The ability to change the time will be available after finishing the main story.
Choose the Time drop-down menu under the Rest feature to be presented with five options:
- No change
- Morning
- Daytime
- Evening
- Nighttime
Confirming the new time of day will cost 300 Guild Points, so be sure to make the most of the day. It is best to choose both the season and time at the same time to only pay the price once.
