How to Unlock the Fluffy Pal Bed in Palworld

The Fluffy Pal Bed is a structure you can make after reaching level 24 and unlocking it for two technology points. Once you spend these points, you can access the bed in your build menu and build it using wood, fiber, nails, and cloth.

How to Make a Fluffy Pal Bed in Palworld

Once you have all the required materials, go into your build menu and look for the Fluffy Pal Bed under Infrastructure before placing and making it. After dedicating 100 workload to the bed, you’ll create a new bed for your Pals, making them happier than the straw beds they used before.

Fluffy Pal Bed Recipe

Once you unlock the Fluffy Pal Bed, you’ll need the following resources to build one:

  • Cloth (10)
  • Wood (30)
  • Nail (5)
  • Fiber (10)

Cloth, Wood, and Fiber are all relatively easy to come by: Wood and Fiber are obtained by cutting down trees, and Cloth is crafted from the Wool that drops from Lamball. The more advanced material here is Nails, which you’ll need to craft yourself after unlocking it in the tech menu for one Technology Point.

With the Nail recipe unlocked, you’ll need to use a Primitive Furnace to turn Ore into Ingots. You can then take the Ingots and use your Primitive Workbench to craft two Nails out of one Ingot each. And now that you have Nails, you can gather all of the materials together, place down some Fluffy Pal Beds, and watch your Pals sleep more soundly than they ever have before.

What Does the Fluffy Pal Bed Do in Palworld?

The Fluffy Pal Bed is an improved version of the straw bed you make near the beginning of the game. It recovers more HP and sanity than the straw bed and will keep your Pals from stressing during the night.

Building two Fluffy Pal Beds is also a requirement to upgrade your base level, making it an important structure to complete if you want to max out your Palbox. After building two Fluffy Pal Beds and deploying a work Pal to your base, you can upgrade your base level from 12 to 13, unlocking a new set of objectives to complete.

Although doing this won’t increase your max number of bases yet, you’ll unlock another work Pal slot, allowing you to have more creatures tending to your crops, resource farming, and other duties.

All Pal Bed Types in Palworld

There are three different Pal beds you can create during your Palworld playthrough that influence your Pals’ health and SAN regeneration:

Wood (30)

Large Pal Bed36High-quality Cloth (10)

While straw beds fulfill their purpose, the fluffy and large Pal beds are more effective for making your Pals happy, making them a helpful upgrade as you progress further in the game. However, the required materials also become slightly more advanced over time, with high-quality cloth made using ten wool each rather than two.
