How Many Wins to Reach Rank 50 in COD MW2 Ranked Play?

9-5 COD players assemble.

Everyone is chasing the brightly colored Iridescent division that signifies you reached the top level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play. However, the level ranks are much tougher to increase than you might think, and you likely haven’t even seen a Rank 50 up to this point.

If you’ve had a chance to look at all of the rank-based rewards, you may have noticed the Ranked Play operator skin with a dragon that will match your highest division when Season 2 of COD MW2 comes to an end. To earn this skin, you’ll need tons of wins, and we’ll go over the amount below.

COD MW2 Ranked Play – How Many Wins to Rach Rank 50?

Because the grind to the final rank takes so long, there is no definitive answer to how many wins are needed just yet. However, there is a very close estimate. Players will need at least 370 wins to reach Rank 50 in COD MW2 Ranked Play. But it could even go as high as 390 depending on the number of wins needed for the final levels.

When you begin your ranked journey, you’ll rank up super fast because it only takes 1-2 wins for another star added to your account. Every five levels, the number of wins needed for a new rank will go up by one. That means at something like Rank 26, you’ll need eight wins. By Rank 36 you’ll need 10 wins to add another star.

What makes this even more difficult is the length of the season. There is barely one month left in the Season of COD MW2 Ranked Play, and the levels could reset. Divisions will only get a soft reset when the season ends, so the same could happen for the win ranks. But if you really want that dragon operator skin, you should grind out all the wins you can before it goes away.
