Though you won’t see it in the meta weapon slots, some players have been running the VEL 46 as a last resort in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play. With the right attachments, utilizing the MP7 can actually work as a last resort due to the TTK that the weapon has.

Like the other submachine guns in ranked, we only want to run four different attachments due to restrictions in the CDL ruleset. Otherwise, the weapon will become too bulky and slow without any positives to justify it. Below you can find all the pieces you need for success with the Vel 46 in MW2.

- Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
- Underbarrel: Bruen Sync Shot Grip
- Rear Grip: Schlager Soldier Grip
- Stock: Assault-60 Stock
- Magazine: 30 Round Mag
The first two attachments listed are meant for control of the weapon. we’re not going for any range because that’s a losing battle regardless of the boosts. However, using pieces like the Bruen Pendulum muzzle, the Assault-60 Stock, and the Bruen Sync Shot Grip underbarrel can be fantastic for ensuring our shots are accurate. You can try out other underbarrels, but I prefer something like the Sync shot for the perfect balance of stats on the VEL 46.
