When you assign Pals to the Ranch in Palworld, the Pals automatically craft resources like Milk, Eggs, Cotton Candy, and much more. But, there is a limit to how many Pals you can have per Ranch, for which we have an answer in this guide.
How Many Pals You Can Have Per Ranch in Palworld?
At a time, you can have a total of four Pals working at your Ranch. However, sometimes the Pals will stop working and go idle or wander elsewhere due to having different Work Suitabilities.
You can see which Pal is working at the Ranch by looking at “Grazing” above their heads. If you assign another Pal to the Ranch by lifting them and throwing them toward the Ranch, one of the other four Pals will stop grazing and wander off somewhere else. That is because you can only have four Pals working at the Ranch at a time.
If you want more than four Pals at the Ranch, you must build a separate Ranch at your base. And if the space for a new Ranch is limited, you will need to make a separate base with a Ranch.
If both options are unsuitable for you, then you will have to manage what you want to produce at your Ranch. Which resource is more useful for you than the other, and what Pals do you need to make that resource? If you are looking to farm something you need to feed yourself with, then you don’t need to have more than two Mozarrina assigned to your Ranch for crafting Milk. If you want to farm Eggs, then only one Chikipi is enough to have at the Ranch. It all depends on what you are looking to produce.
These Pals will farm the resource automatically for you when you are out of the base, and other Pals with Transporting Work Suitability will place them in the storage chests. It removes the need to go on a journey to gather resources all by yourself, and you will have an unlimited supply of resources at your base.
If you want to maximize the resources you need at your base, then you should look into the best Pals for your Ranch.
