Nearly every Call of Duty game has a single-player campaign that ties together all of the maps and weapons found within the multiplayer component. Each studio has its own approach to the single player though, and it can change the entire length of campaign when two games are compared.
Infinity Ward has always been known for some of the strongest single-player campaigns, especially with the Modern Warfare series, both rebooted and old. COD Modern Warfare 2 – How Many Missions are There?
Compared to some previous Call of Duty games, MW2 has a fairly beefy single-player list for potential Operators to complete. In total, there are 17 main missions that make up the campaign. Along with having a hefty campaign for players to get through, the missions themselves are some of the longest that we’ve seen in the franchise. Just like the first Modern Warfare in 2019, each chapter brings players through tactical and intense locations that are slow burns with high action points.

Once you’ve completed the full campaign for MW2, you’ll earn a unique blueprint for the M4 that resembles the colors and logo of Task Force 141. You can always run it again for the Veteran completion, but you’ll have your new M4 and can use it all you want in the multiplayer modes.
