Plenty of attention has been on the iconic game of GTA V following it becoming free on the Epic Games Store so much in fact that it even caused the platform to go down because of the massive amount of traffic it received. Unfortunately, players have also been running into other issues besides not being able to get the game from the store due to traffic. One of the biggest has been a timed out authentication problem that players are experiencing with the servers. GTA V Timed Out Authentication With Epic Games Servers
Now, players can sign out of their Epic Games account and sign back in if they run into the timed out authentication issue for the servers when trying to play. Doing this action should hopefully resolve this problem and allow you to experience everything that the legendary game has to offer to those who jump into its world.
If the action above does not work, players can also wait and try to sign onto the platform during non-peak traffic hours like late at night or early in the morning. Signing on at these times will hopefully allow you to get on when the servers are not under as much stress and will allow you to avoid running into the time out authentication problem.
