Genshin Impact “Were It So Easy” Quest Guide

It's actually THAT easy

Were It So Easy is a hidden World Quest in the Fontaine region of Genshin Impact. It’s a quick side activity, but it’s hidden behind an easy-to-miss hidden objective with a small Melusian girl who’s tending to her garden. But you shouldn’t have much trouble finding nor completing said objective, and here’s all you gotta do in it.

How to Unlock and Complete The Were It So Easy Quest in Fontaine

First of all, you need to have access to the Merusea Village underground area in Fontaine, unlocked through the Ancient Colors World Quest. Once you’re here, head to the Merusea Village Waypoint and walk a few steps back until you spot Cosanzeana, a small Melusian who’s tending to her (non-existing) garden.

Speak with her about the various flowers you found on your journey, and she’ll eventually ask you to find and give some of them to her. The rewards are the same regardless of the flower you pick. Choose between Windwheel Aster, Silk Flower, Naku Weed, or Sumeru Rose, and then give four of the selected flowers to her. You’ll get 20 Primogems and a Strange Part as a reward.

After that, advance our in-game time through a day and Cosanzeana should now be found in the Merusea Village. She has a World Quest symbol on her head now, so she’s hard to miss. She’ll ask you to visit her garden with her. You’ll find a Breacher Primus on the way, so beat it to continue.

Cosanzeana asks you to find the reason why they’re attacking her garden. Visit the nearby shining spots until you’re attacked by another enemy. Beat it the same way you did to the last one and speak with her one last time to complete the quest.
