Genshin Impact ‘Tulaytullah’s Remembrance” Ascension Materials, Recommended Characters and More

Behold the bell of doom

Tulaytullah’s Remembrance is a 5-star Limited Catalyst for Genshin Impact. It is the signature weapon for the Wanderer and it accompanies him during event banners featuring the traveling man. Its lore ties to the ancient civilization of Tulaytullah, also referenced in other Sumeru-related weapons.

In-game, it serves as a strong offensive Catalyst dedicated to on-field DPS characters such as the Wanderer himself. Here’s everything you need to know about the weapon, ranging from stats, the necessary materials, and which characters you should be using it.

Tulaytullah’s Remembrance Weapon Overview

Base ATK48 (at Lvl 1), 674 (at Lvl 90)
SubstatCritical DMG
Base C.DMG9,6% (at Lvl 1), 44,1% (at Lvl 90)
Passive DescriptionNormal Attack SPD is increased by 10% ~ 20%. After the wielder unleashes an Elemental Skill, Normal Attack DMG will increase by 4.8% every second for 14s. After this character hits an opponent with a Normal Attack during this duration, Normal Attack DMG will be increased by 9.6%. This increase can be triggered once every 0.3s. The maximum Normal Attack DMG increase per single duration of the overall effect is 48% ~ 96%. The effect will be removed when the wielder leaves the field, and using the Elemental Skill again will reset all DMG buffs.

With a very Genshin-like text wall for description, its effect is fairly simple. It gives extra Attack Speed for the wielder and makes its Normal Attacks stronger the more it uses them. Not only that, it has a huge base Atk and one of the most valuable substats in the game, offering 44% Critical Damage for free. This weapon’s insane even if you don’t use the passive.

Best Characters for Tulaytullah’s Remembrance in Genshin Impact

1 – Wanderer

Being its signature weapon, almost no other character comes close to using it so well as he does. The bonus Attack Speed is a very rare bonus that you can get from very few sources, and it makes his Burst rotation even better by squeezing a few extra hits while still hovering. Best in Slot for him, period.

2 – Shikanoin Heizou

We have Wanderer at home, kinda. Heizou has virtually the same base gameplay as the Wanderer, and thus the Weapon is also a great fit for him. Losing the stacks after using his hard-hitting punch is not a problem as you can quickly gather them back if he’s staying a little longer on the field.

3 – Ningguang

Although the original Miss Geo isn’t very popular nowadays, this weapon can be a huge improvement for her. Being slow is one of her biggest problems, and that’s somewhat addressed with Tulaytullah’s Remembrance. Consider it if you like using her.

Honorable mentions

Yae Miko and Mona are not usually played as on-field DPS, but would love this item as a simple stat stick as Critical is always valuable for them. Klee and Yanfei, on the other hand, are pretty much always played at that role, so they’ll love this one. But since they’re more focused on their Charged attacks instead of Normals, they may not fully benefit from its passive.

So we got ourselves a good weapon that deserves some investment and decided on who we’ll be using it, so it’s time to drop those resources.

Scorching Might Weapon Ascension Materials

This is a Sumeru weapon, meaning that you’ll need to tackle the Tower of Abject Pride domain in the Apam Woods. You’ll get the required drops on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so save your Resin accordingly.

The domain itself should always be cleared in the hardest difficulty, so bring some Dendro characters to abuse Aggravate, Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon reactions to make quick work of the Fungi inside.

Fungal Nucleus Common Ascension Material

When first arriving in Sumeru, you probably noticed that Fungi had different drops depending on whether you used certain elements when fighting. If you happen to inflict Electro or Pyro on them, they’ll drop Fungal Nucleus instead of their usual loot, and they drop A LOT of these. So chances are that you got a lot of them by simply exploring around.

But since 5-stars take a lot of resources, here are some locations you can find more Fungi. Forget all about that “Fungi are friends” nonsense from events, we’re out for blood tonight. Actually, just the Nucleus is fine.

Fungal Spores Character Ascension Material

The regular Fungi drops are also required for that weapon. Talk about a chore! Those are somewhat harder to come by since they have a smaller drop rate compared to Nucleus. You also must refrain from using Pyro or Electro when hunting it because it lowers its drop chance by a ton.

You can find those Fungi in the same aforementioned place or by simply using the Adventurer Handbook to find any of those you may have missed. You can also buy all of the Fungi items (except their final tier drops) in the Paimon’s Bargain at the Shop menu.
