Faruzan’s Boss
Out in the desert, we’re going to have to tackle one of the longest-named bosses in the game, the Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network, hereby dubbed the Matrix for the rest of this article. This boss can be found in the Hypostyle Desert in the southernmost tomb, Dune of Elusion. There’s no quest that you need to complete or mountain you need to dive into to find this boss, it’s as simple as walking into the pyramid. To make your lives easier if you are not able to one-shot this boss with an overpowered team, you are going to want to bring an Electro character along so that once it’s trying to regenerate its shield while remaining invisible, you can attack it and get a few seconds to spam your bursts to defeat it much faster.

Sumeru Exclusive Materials for Ascension in Genshin Impact
Similar to Candace, Faruzan is going to need the Redcrest Fruit from the desert, however, these fruits have now been updated to be called the Henna fruit. They can be found just about anywhere in the desert, attached to cacti, and are much easier to find than some troublesome but adorable scarabs.
The other exclusive items that you are going to need are the red sashes that fall off the Eremites that you battle. They can be found just about anywhere in Sumeru, luckily, and if you still find it tricky to find them, you can always go to your Adventurers Journal. In there, a tab called Enemies will pull up all of the opponents that you have encountered both Boss and Mobs alike. Simply scroll till you find the Eremites and along with their description, you are able to click a Navigate button that will show you an icon on your map of where you find a large collection of Eremites. It makes for an easier time of grinding for resources without having to just hope that you run into them while on your commissions.

Faruzan Talent Materials in Genshin Impact
Faruzan is a rather easy unit to build as a four-star because the only materials that she is going to need to ascend both her levels to 90 and her talent branches are the red sashes that can be retrieved from Eremites. Aside from these, Faruzan is going to need the talents of Admonition, which can be found at the Steeple of Ignorance Domain in Sumeru. Since the talents rotate daily with the exception of Sunday when all of the talents can be farmed, you’re going to want to visit the domain on Mondays and Thursdays.
The other exclusive material that you are going to need for Faruzan once you get her to Level Six is going to be the required World Boss Material. Since characters generally require the drop from the same nation that they are from, this means that the only World Boss in Sumeru available thus far is going to be from the Shouki no Kami fight. Once defeated, they have a chance of dropping three special types of materials, one of which is called the Puppet Strings which Faruzan is going to need in order to ascend her advanced talent branches. If you find that you don’t have enough, you can go to the crafting table to exchange with Dream Solvent in order to get the proper drop that you need. This can only be done with drops from the same boss and Dream Solvent is only available from these World Bosses so choose your transfigurations carefully.
