Final Fantasy 7 Remake Drink Choice Guide

When you’re knee-deep in trying to rescue Tifa while in Wall Market, you’ll find yourself repeatedly running into a familiar face. Yes, we’re talking about Johnny. While his intentions are good, the man clearly isn’t cut out for rescuing, let alone looking after himself. While you’re busy getting indentured to Madam M so that you can save Tifa, you’ll find yourself taking part in an underground fight club of sorts where the hapless Johnny has found himself too. Next to Johnny, you’re going to find a drink which you can choose to partake in. Here’s what your choice is going to do:

  • Taste mystery drink – Absolutely nothing happens to you at all, and your ability to fight isn’t improved or hindered in any way.
  • I don’t need that mystery drink – Again, since nothing has been done to change your state, your ability to fight isn’t improved or hindered in any way.

Yes, while there are plenty of other scenarios in Final Fantasy 7 Remake that involve you making choices that have some kind of impact on you at a later stage or even immediately, this dialogue choice isn’t one of them. Whatever Johnny was potentially doping with does you absolutely no good (not very surprising considering the man’s general incompetence), so it won’t matter if you chug it or not before fighting Satan’s house or something. There! Choice made for you, really. If you’re after guides for some side quests, why not check out our guide on how to complete the Weapons On A Rampage quest as you’re kicking around Sector 5?

Now that you have our Final Fantasy 7 Remake drink choice guide at hand, you’ll know that it’s a no-brainer as to what you pick since it really doesn’t matter. The fights in this arena for Tifa’s eventual freedom are going to depend on a smart use of tactics, and that’s especially true when it comes to having to take down the Hell House at some point. Just don’t get too far ahead of yourself and you should be alright – patience is really the key here once you’ve dealt with all the small fry that the game will throw at you.
