FFXIV: Moonfire Faire 2023 Event Guide – Date, Location, and Rewards

The Dawntrail expansion is set to basically be Final Fantasy XIV’s summer vacation, but we actually have a similar thing happening in just a few days with the Moonfire Faire returning once again! This recurring anime filler beach episode event is known for giving exclusive costumes (and sometimes even Emotes) to its participants, and this time it will be no different with a new blazing reward to get. Take some time to learn about Final Fantasy XIV’s Moonfire Faire 2023 event, including dates, location, and rewards.

Moonfire Faire 2023 Date and Rewards in Final Fantasy XIV

The summer event runs from Thursday, August 10 at 1:00 AM to Saturday, August 26 at 7:59 AM (PDT). It’s available for all players with any Job at Level 30 or higher, and all that they have to do is to speak with Mayaru Moyaru in the Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks at (X: 11.5, Y:13.8). 

Event quests are pretty straightforward as always, and you get some nice rewards out of them. This time around, instead of another beach-inspired attire, you get the Phoenix Riser Helmet and the Phoenix Riser Suit as rewards. Behold the complete Pheonix Ranger attire! While not specified, certain items from previous Moonfire Faires will also be available through vendors in the area.

These items are most likely none of the emotes or clothes distributed in previous Moonfire Faires as these are already available through the Online Store. We’re possibly talking about a few minor furnish items and some Magicked Prisms here and there, so don’t get your hopes up about Pheonix Ranger poses given out for free!

Last year’s event was a jumping puzzle, and get’s who’s back in Eorzea this time around?! I wish you some good luck, so it’s time to put those hours spent in the Gold Saucer to some good use. If you’re not digging the looks of the suits and wanted some good n’ old summer clothes, the Store is your only solution. They’re currently having a special sale, which includes the new Garlond GL-IS mount with a special temporary discount.
