Time to grind.

by Jesse Vitelli

A new FFXIV patch means brand new currencies and Tomestones to grind for. Patch 6.4 introduces Hermetic Tomestones, which are needed to get your brand new shiny raid weapon from the next tier of Pandaemonium raids. How do you get them, though? Here’s how to get Hermetic Tomestones in FFXIV patch 6.4.

FFXIV: How to Get Hermetic Tomestones patch 6.4

To obtain a Hermetic Tomestone you will need to clear the Anabaseios raid tier in Pandaemonium. You will receive an Unsung Blade of Anabaseios once per week. After obtaining seven of them, you can trade them into the NPC Djole at Radz-At-Han for a Hermetic Tomestone.

Djole can be found at the coordinates (X:10.3, Y:9.7)

It will take seven weeks in order to get a Hermetic Tomestone if you finish the raid tier once a week. The gear is currently locked to a once-a-week cap; this will remain true until patch 6.5 in a few months.

We recommend hopping on every Tuesday after the reset to run the four battles. This way, you’re done for the week early, and you won’t forget or potentially miss a week.

After seven weeks you’ll be able to get your shiny new weapon and show it off to your friends, family, neighbors, and even your enemies. Slice them down in Crystalline Conflict or just run around LImsa Lominsa flaunting your new style.

It’s a long haul, but that’s always the case with an MMO.
