The upcoming Minecraft Legends title is a new shift from the usual sandbox gameplay from the main game. But instead of being another dungeon-crawler, Diablo-like game like Minecraft Dungeons, Legends is a strategy-based adventure where you and your friends can go against the imminent threat of the rising Piglings invading directly from the Nether.
The game is being released with two distinct editions, with those being Standard and Deluxe Edition, which contains a few extras for those willing to pay a little bit more for the game. Here’s everything you get from it.

Everything Included in the Minecraft Legends Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Skin Pack contains the following bonuses for players who bought it:
- One Hero Skin
- Four Mount Skins
- One Additional Mount Skin (when it becomes available)
And yes, the featured image is indeed depicting that hero skin + one of the mount skins. Grab it or not, the choice’s up to you.
According to the official website, those skins are purely aesthetical and give you no extra perks or bonuses in battle, so don’t feel pressured into getting them. There’s no extra content or anything that’s locked behind a paywall either, so don’t worry about that. Future DLCs are a possibility, but nothing is confirmed at the moment.
Deluxe Edition goes for $49.99 in contrast to Standard’s $39.99. The game will also be available on Day 1 through the Xbox Game Pass, so you might give the game a try before deciding on getting it or not. Luckily the game also features cross-platform, so there’s no need to worry about getting the game on the same platform your friends did as you can always play together.
Minecraft Legends is set to be released on April 18 for PC (Steam and Xbox Game Pass), Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X|S.
