Every Armor Added in New Game Plus God of War Ragnarok

One last ride.

It’s always one of the most requested features, and now players won’t have to wait any longer to start a New Game Plus mode in God of War Ragnarok. The update comes with plenty of small changes across the board, including access to four new armor sets for those who jump into the mode.

Along with the armor sets, Santa Monica Studio also added over a dozen new color variations that players can use as they customize Kratos’ armor with the transmog system. In this guide, we’ll go over all the new unique armors added to New Games Plus within God of War Ragnarok.

God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus – Ever New Armor Added

There are four sets of armors that have been confirmed for the New Game Plus mode, and most of them are tied to the Spartan side of Kratos. However, there’s one that finally gives players access to the cloak. Below you can find all four new armors and their descriptions.

God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus Armors:

  • Armor of the Black Bear – This armor provides players with the cloak seen at the start of the game. Once NG+ begins, the armor will be available for use or appearance.
  • Spartan Armor – This is the opposite of the bear. Spartan Armor is minimal and gives Kratos the classic warrior look. The actual armor has no stats but it can also be used to transmog.
  • Ares Armor – One of the two returning NG+ armors from the first game, this armor is based on chances to drop health stones on each hit.
  • Zeus Armor – Receive a significant boost to your Runic and melee damage at the cost of receiving more damage as well. This is for those who truly want to min max their armor.

Anyone who is still early into the game will have to ignore these for the time being. But it’s always a good incentive to get through the main story and work your way into New Game Plus for God of War Ragnarok.
