Electronic Arts has officially announced F1 25, the latest entry in Codemasters’ racing simulation series. Like previous titles, F1 25 features full multiplayer support with several modes for players to compete against each other on the track.
Since it’s launching on multiple platforms, does F1 25 have crossplay support? Here’s everything you need to know.
Does F1 25 Have Crossplay Support?
Yes, F1 25 has crossplay support across all platforms, whether you’re playing on PC, Xbox Series S|X, or the PS5.
This was confirmed through the individual store pages ahead of the full gameplay reveal slated for April 2025. You can see the relevant tags on the Steam and Xbox store pages.

This tag usually isn’t featured on the PlayStation store, but I doubt that the platform will be excluded from this as that hasn’t been the case for previous Codemasters releases.
I expect this information to be revealed on the FAQ page as well, which will likely go live after the full reveal. Codemasters continue the trend of offering a seamless crossplay experience regardless of the platform you’re on. Since F1 25 isn’t coming to last-generation consoles, there won’t be any parity issues either.
In the last major entry, F1 24, you can disable the crossplay functionality if you don’t want to connect with players from different platforms. This is common for console players who don’t want to play with PC users. I expect the same feature to be available for F1 25.
F1 25 Release Date
F1 25 is coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 on May 30, 2025. You can also play it a few days early by purchasing one of the more expensive digital editions.
F1 25 is also part of the EA Play Pro service which is available exclusively for PC players. If you’re subscribed to the regular EA Play service, you can enjoy a five-hour free trial of F1 25. If you have EA Play Pro, the F1 25 Iconic Edition will be added to your library automatically. Here is a comparison chart of what both subscription services offer.

It seems that only Split Fiction was the exception when it came to EA Play Pro, and thankfully, that isn’t the case for F1 25.
