What is TM Drain Punch in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
Drain Punch is one of the many special moves you can teach your Pokémon, and is best used on a fighting, physical-type Pokémon that can be devastating when executed4. Of the new generation Pokémon, Koraidon learns the unique trait when levelling up. So far, he is the only Pokémon species that learns it on a level-up.

Where to Find Drain Punch TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
There are two locations you will find Drain Punch in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The first location where you will uncover it is the Watchtower, situated south of Artazon, looking over areas three and five in the Paldea region and South Province. Once found, climb up the ladder until you reach the first platform of the Watchtower and search for Drain Punch TM there.

The following location is between areas two and three in the East Province region. To help locate it, look for the smallest island in the middle of Zapapico and Levincia, where you can also see the Great Crater of Paldea on the map.

Can You Craft Drain Punch TM?
Yes, Drain Punch can be crafted, but only once you’ve beaten the leader of Team Star Fairy Crew to unlock it. Here is a list of items needed to craft Drain Punch:
- Crabrawler Shell x3
- Croagunk Poison x5
- Mankey Fur x3
- League Points (LP) x 8000 LP
It can be crafted repeatedly as long as you have the above items in your inventory.
How does Drain Punch work in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
As mentioned previously, it is one of the better TM’s to have in your arsenal, and it can be a lethal weapon when used on the correct Pokémon. When used, there is a 10% chance to inflict paralysis on its opponents.
Drain Punch restores the Pokémon’s health using it while dealing 50% damage to the Pokémon being attacked.
