If you’ve been searching for a new FPS game to jump into because you’re tired of playing the same old thing, take a trip down memory lane and download Roblox. You may think I’m joking, but Frontlines has shown that the platform can produce some extremely high-quality games, featuring impressive graphics and sound if the developers are willing to put the time in. However, if you’re worried that you may run into a large amount of cheaters, due to the nature of the program, we’re here to put those claims to bed. Does Frontlines Have Anti-Cheat Built-In?
As confirmed via one of the developers on the Frontlines Discord Channel, there is an added layer of Anti-Cheat baked into this experience. While it may seem that some players are using hacks, due to their skill levels, it could be because there is currently no Skill Based Match Making involved in the game, so you’re likely facing off against a player that is just better than you are currently. So, continue jumping into the game, take the L like a Champion, and you’ll soon find yourself rising to the top of the food chain sooner than later.
Does Roblox Have Anti-Cheat In General?
If you’ve been playing Roblox for a while and ran into a very small number of hackers and cheaters, that’s thanks to the built-in Anti-Cheat support that the game comes with. As I’ve been writing about Roblox for just nearly a year at this point, I’ve never had an issue with players hacking/cheating in any of the experiences that I’ve been involved in, which proves that their system does work quite well. On top of this, experiences are also allowed to put in their own layer of Anti-Cheat, effectively doubling up on the protection that gamers can expect.
What Kind of Anti-Cheat Does Roblox Use?
While you may be familiar with programs like Easy Anti-Cheat, which is used in big games like Dead By Daylight, you’ll come to find that Roblox uses the Byfron Anti-Cheat program. If you look on sites like YouTube, you can see how quickly and effectively this program works at removing hackers, cheaters, and spammers, so it seems like their investment into the Byfron Anti-Cheat software has had some great results.

Some folks can bypass it, but it seems like it’s a lot more hassle than it’s worth, so you shouldn’t have to worry much about running into players that are phasing through walls and making the experience less than satisfactory when you join onto this thrilling FPS. Even if you do run into a cheater, leave the game and come back in. You’ll be placed in a whole new group of people, or spend 99 Robux and get a private lobby.
