Do You Need To Participate In The Queen’s Blood Tournament in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth? (FF7)

Can you skip out on this card quest?

During Chapter 5, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your Queen’s Blood skills against various other players. However, if you’re heart does not belong to that of the cards, you may be wondering if you’re penalized for skipping this portion of the game.

Can You Skip The Queen’s Blood Tournament in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth?

If you’re looking to zoom through the main story, or you’re just not a big fan of Queen’s Blood, you won’t be penalized for skipping out of the tournament. You’ll need to speak with the receptionist at the right-hand side of the desk where you find Barret originally if you’re hoping to forfeit the tournament. But be warned — you’ll miss out on a Trophy for your PSN account. Thankfully, if you’re worried about missable objects and trophies, you can always return later to challenge these foes once again.

Cloud is normally not one to back down from a challenge, so make sure you know what you’ll need to do to win the Queen’s Blood tournament if you plan on partaking. It’s a tricky card game, but once you figure out how to play you’ll never want to put it down again. However, for the sake of time and wanting to get to the end as quickly as possible, you won’t need to worry about learning the ropes.

There is a small issue that you could encounter if you don’t learn how to play the game, but even if you win or lose the mandatory battle against a surprise challenger, you can keep progressing through the story. They’re not going to force you to keep playing until you’re the Undisputed Queen’s Blood Champion of the Shinra-8. Someone a little more deserving will get the Grand Prize instead.

Make sure that you’re keeping an eye on our Final Fantasy VII Rebirth section below to learn more about the game, and find out what you’ll need to do to finally unlock new outfits for Cloud and crew.
