Diablo 4: Conceited Aspect Effects and How to Get

That extra shielding really renews your vigor huh?

Once you make it to around level 50 in Diablo 4, caring about the Aspects you have in your build starts to make a lot more sense. Aspects provide a variety of buffs that can enhance your builds, ranging from general boosts to specific character skills. One such Aspect can be great for those trying to focus on survivability a little more than raw strength. Here’s everything the Conceited Aspect does and how you can get it for yourself in Diablo 4.

What Does the Conceited Aspect Do in Diablo 4?

The Conceited Aspect, a name I’d consider fairly apt, has a basic premise. When you have a Barrier active on whatever character you’ve equipped the Aspect to, you’ll gain 15-25% increased damage based on the Aspect’s roll. This is increased by 100% when equipped on a two-handed weapon, 50% on an Amulet, and no change on other pieces of gear. Otherwise, it can be equipped for any character and any piece of gear.

How Do You Get the Conceited Aspect?

Like a large portion of the Aspects in Diablo 4, the Conceited Aspect can only be found on random drops through any Legendary piece of gear. This means you’ll need to farm Legendary items until you get the Aspect, and even further if you want that crispy god roll. If you’re looking to farm Aspects at all, your best bet will be world events like World Bosses and Legion Events, though dungeons can work too if that’s not possible.

Who Should Use the Conceited Aspect?

The Conceited Aspect is all about having a Barrier active, which means that Sorcerors on certain builds are going to be king for this Aspect. Things like Ice Armor and Flame Shield combined with other Barrier effects are going to work wonders to essentially give you a permanent flat upgrade to your damage. With that being said, it’s important to note that you shouldn’t be using this as your Amulet or two-handed weapon Aspect. The extra percentage is nice, but that could better be spent on other Aspects that’ll get more value out of the boost. 25% increased is more than enough reason to use it as is.
