Destiny 2 Cold Front – How to Get The Dawning 2019 SMG

by Nicholas Barth

There is plenty of excitement in the Destiny 2 community at the moment with the arrival of The Dawning 2019 event taking place on Tuesday, December 17th. This new event has injected some new content for Guardians to enjoy. One of these unique pieces of content is a quest to obtain the Cold Front SMG. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know to get the Cold Front SMG covered.

Destiny 2 Cold Front

Players will be able to get their hands on the Cold Front SMG without too much trouble when they begin their adventures for The Dawning 2019 event. You will be rewarded with this particular weapon when you have completed The Dawning Begins mission. Eva Levante will provide you with this mission that tasks players with using Eva’s Holiday oven for baking Commander Zavala a gift.

All that you need to do then is bake Zavala some Gjallardoodles (Ether Cane, Delicious Expression, and Essence of Dawning) with Eva’s oven and deliver it to the Titan. Once you have delivered the baked gift to Zavala, the Cold Front SMG will be added to your Destiny 2 arsenal by way of a gift that Zavala will give you and will be available for you to use in all of your future battles against The Darkness.

Guardians will see that the Cold Front SMG comes with the perks of Aggressive Frame (high damage and high recoil) and Osmosis (using your grenade ability changes this weapon’s damage type to match your subclass until you stow it).
