Early game in RPGs is always one of the roughest parts. You’re always changing your equipment as you’re quickly leveling, and you’ll find yourself wearing lots of ugly, fashion-less clothes along the way as those are all that you have for now, and Diablo 4 is no exception. The most infamous items are surely those ugly ass helmets that we would love to see our character without. Can you remove them visually?

You cannot properly hide your head gear through the character menu, but you can do it in Wardrobes inside cities. Teleport to Kyovashad and search for the Wardrobe icon on the map (it’s very close to the Waypoint). Once you’re there, interact with the wardrobe, click on your helmet and select the “Unequipped look” option to make it invisible. Once you select it, click on “Confirm Look” at the bottom of the screen to save it.

You can do it for free with any of your gear pieces. If you have salvaged your spare gear pieces instead of just selling or discarding them, you can also use them as appearances for each one of your items. The helmet is no exception, so you can actually use pretty headgear for once!

It’s still an extra chore to be able to do it only in cities, but at least this is a pretty easy way to not look like you’re walking around with a pan over your head. And don’t worry if you drop any bad-looking gear inside a dungeon with godly-like stats, because it will automatically be hidden too until you change it in the Wardrobe again.

That’s all you need to know about hiding your helmet in the Diablo 4 Beta. For more guides, tips and tricks, keep scrolling down through Prima Games. Here’s how you can swap weapons.
