If you’re someone who’s had a whale of a time cracking into the Bloody Harvest in Borderlands 3, then maybe it’s time to take a break. Sure, we all love some slaughter, but if you want to do it even more effectively then you’re going to want weapons. And can you really get weapons or items more prestigious than those belonging to the first Vault Hunter? Check out our Borderlands 3 The Droughts Typhon Logs guide to find these little bits of info from Typhon DeLeon, and to find his Dead Drop for some good ol’ fashioned glory.
Borderlands 3 The Droughts Typhon Logs – Location Guide
There are three such Typhon Logs in The Droughts in Borderlands. As we’ve mentioned, these are the audio logs belonging to the famed Vault Hunter, Typhon DeLeon. Finding all of the logs in a particular area will then enable you to find the Typhon Dead Drop, which is what will contain items and EXP and cool weapons that you can use to kill more bandits or whatever catches your fancy.
We’ve outlined the locations of the three The Droughts Typhon logs in the area for you:
- Log 1 – If you’re heading to the Sun Smasher camp, this is to the left of the broken bridge that you’ve driven across. You’ll want to move up the hill, and then keep on going as far as possible. The yellow module will be easily visible.
- Log 2 – You’ll want to make a beeline for where the Dahl Orbital Control center was. There will be some bandits who seek to intercept you while you’re there – take them out and the module will be visible upon exiting the premises.
- Log 3 – You want to head for Tannis’ dig site, where you might remember a rather prodigious skag den. Trek up to the ledge that pokes out from the wall of dens and the distinctive yellow of the Typhon log should be visible.
Once you find all of the three logs above, you’re going to be able to find the Typhon Dead Drop that’s in The Droughts. HeaD to the three-way fork in the Droughts which neatly bisects the area map in the middle, and head north-west. You’ll notice a Dahl building in the distance, and you’ll want to circle this until you reach a veritable collection of old TVs. The Typhon Dead Drop is in this same room, and it’ll spit out some loot along with EXP and Eridium.
Now that you’ve got our Borderlands 3 The Droughts Typhon Logs all in hand as well as the Dead Drop, you’ve only got a handful more to find in other areas in the galaxy to truly make sure that you’re kitted out in the best gear.
