Everyone knew that the TAQ-56 would be one of the best options in Al Mazrah and it remains one of the meta picks within Warzone 2 Season 1. However, the TAQ-V is like the older brother to the 56 and players have started to realize it packs even more of a punch.
Compared to the TAQ-56, the V has way more recoil to deal with due to the weapon being a battle rifle in classification. This is also what lends so much damage to the rifle though, and we can certainly fix those issues. In this loadout guide, we’ll go over everything you need for the best TAQ-V loadout possible.
Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best TAQ-V Loadout
At a base, the V version of the TAQ already has some great damage range and bullet velocity, which is one of the reasons it does so well. But we need to add pieces to the puzzle that make up for the control weaknesses and enhance the strengths. Below you can find all the attachments you need.
- Receiver: TAQ-V
- Barrel: 18″ Precision-6
- Muzzle: Kastovia DX90
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
- Magazine: 50 Round Drum
- Optic: Schlager 3.4x
We want to kick off this build with the enhancements for damage range and bullet velocity. Both the 18″ Precision-6 and the Kastovia DX90 are perfect for building the best strengths in Warzone 2. You’ll also get a nice boost to recoil control and smoothness so your shots are much more accurate.

To boost the recoil control even further, we want the VX Pineapple underbarrel which has become one of the staples in Al Mazrah rifle loadouts. This attachment has some serious base control and plenty of hip-fire accuracy to support surprise engagements.
Our last two attachments are the 50 Round Drum magazine and the Schlager 3.4x optic. The drum mag is to increase the overall capacity of the TAQ-V, especially for those using the weapon in the full auto fire. Then the Schlager 3.4x will allow us to be effective at medium to long range.
