When Cold War came out, the DMR was a problem across Verdansk, and though the first iteration of the DMR may be gone, Warzone 2 has a close replacement. The EBR-14 is the modern-day cousin to the DMR that became so infamous, and as expected, it hits hard with deadly precision to back it up.
As expected, you’ll want this weapon to serve as a primary rifle for medium to long range encounters. But that doesn’t mean it can’t serve as a versatile option at any distance with the right attachments involved. In this EBR-14 loadout guide, we’ll go over everything you need to make the most of this classic.
Warzone 2 Season 1 – Best EBR-14 Loadout
Our main focus for this build should be damage range and control across the board. This is the typical priority for nearly any rifle build in the game, so that’s no surprise. Along with a bit of mobility help, you’ll be tearing through squads. Below you’ll find all the attachments you need.
- Receiver: EBR-14
- Barrel: 22″ Boremaster Barrel
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
- Rear Grip: FSS Gen. 7 Grip
- Optic: DS Farsight 11
- Magazine: 20 Round Mag
To kick off the loadout, we want to pick attachments based on bullet velocity, damage range, and recoil control. Using the 22″ Boremaster Barrel is a great way to enhance all two of those stats without the range. Increasing the damage range will require the Polarfire-S muzzle. With these two attachments, you’ll have plenty of stats for ranged combat.

Next, we want some support pieces for the build, starting with mobility. The FSS Gen. 7 Grip is our only ADS enhancement, and this rear grip should be tuned for additional ADS speed. Pair this with the 20 Round Mag and you’ll have every tool you need at your disposal.
An optic attachment is the last attachment to finish the EBR-14 loadout in Warzone 2. Rather than a traditional 4.0x scope, we’re going to pick up the DS Farsight 11. This is a variable zoom scope that has 4.0x magnification and 8.7x magnification. Both are fantastic options for a versatile scope.
