Best PG Build for MyCareer in NBA 2K25

Luka who?

There is no question that the PG is one of the most played positions in NBA 2K25. The PG’s job is to handle the ball, distribute, make plays, and more. Since you are always holding the ball, you can do basically anything you want. This is what makes it a popular position, and you need the best build for it. Here’s the best all-around PG build for MyCareer in NBA 2K25. You can also play it in the city, park, streetball, and other online game modes.

Best All-Around PG Build in NBA 2K25

There are different archetypes you can use for a PG build, but we’ll go for a more all-around PG that excels in everything rather than specializing in other aspects like shooting, playmaking, finishing, or defense. Here are the attributes you should set up.

PG Build Attributes

AttributeRating
Close Shot88
Driving Layup85
Driving Dunk86
Standing Dunk48
Post Control36
Mid-range Shot89
Three-point Shot88
Free Throws82
Pass Accuracy82

Interior Defense43
Perimeter Defense70

Defensive Rebound51

Agility86

The build will be labeled as a 3-Level Scoring Threat because you can score from the inside, mid-range, and hit the open three. You have one of the speediest builds, even if you stand at 6’6 as a point guard. You can lower it to be a little faster, but you want to be taller to finish better at the rim.

This point guard build excels in playmaking, driving to the basket, shot creation, and being a lethal shooter. Defense is a bit lacking, so if you want to improve it, you can lower your finishing or shooting to increase your perimeter defense attribute.

PG Build Vitals

  • Height – 6’6
  • Wingspan – 6’8
  • Weight – 195 lbs

As mentioned earlier, you want the max height, which sacrifices speed for better finishes on the inside. Wingspan is low for better shooting abilities, but if you want to improve your defenses even more, you can increase your wingspan a bit more.

Takeovers depend on your preferences. If you drive a lot, pick a takeover that improves your finishing. When you are leveling up badges, you want to focus on one or two aspects so you can easily farm VC while you progress. You can choose the playmaking or inside finishing route to get that teammate’s grade up and maximize VC earnings.

If you still haven’t decided on a team to play for in MyCareer, you can check out our list. Since you are PG, you are most likely looking for a strong team with an open PG position, like the Minnesota Timberwolves or Los Angeles Lakers. You can also play other game modes like MyGM to earn VC until your build is good enough to play.
