Much of the grind in Palworld isn’t for levels; it’s for resources like Stone, Wood, and Ore for Ingots, of which you will require many during your playthrough. These are the best Pals for Mining in Palworld, ranked from the most efficient to the least.
Best Pals for Mining Resources in Palworld
I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of Stone and Ingots I run through daily while playing Palworld, which is why finding the best Pals for Mining makes sense!
Pal | Mining | Tier |
---|---|---|
Astegon | Mining Level 4 | S |
Blazamut | Mining Level 4 | S |
Digtoise | Mining Level 3 | A |
Reptyro | Mining Level 3 | A |
Anubis | Mining Level 3 | A |
Penking | Mining Level 2 | B |
Dumud | Mining Level 2 | B |
Mammorest | Mining Level 2 | B |
Depresso | Mining Level 1 | C |
Cattiva | Mining Level 1 | C |
No other Pal compares to Cattiva for Mining Work Suitability for sheer availability in the early game. They’re everywhere! But personally, and I know many think the same, no creature is as good as Depresso. His mining animation is top-tier.
But if we’re talking about efficiency, move on up the list. Of course, you want A-Tier or S-Tier, and Anubis, Digtoise, and Astegon prove the most coveted for Stone and Ore.
Where to Mine Resources at Your Base
If you want a constant supply of resources, especially Stone, at your base, you must build a Stone Pit. It’s available relatively early on, at Technology Level 7, and requires:
- 20x Wood.
- 50x Stone.
- 10x Paldium Fragment.
Once you place down a Stone Pit, you can manually assign the previously mentioned Pals or allow them to assign themselves automatically.
Alternatively, if you strategically place your base to cover a node, which respawns over time, you can mine Ore to craft Ingots. To automatically mine Ore, you require a Pal with Mining Level 2.
