You might remember this weapon as the PP19 Bizon, or the Bullfrog depending on the last few Call of Duty titles that you’ve played. But in Modern Warfare 2, that same weapon is called the Minibak, and it’s a fantastic option for any close-quarters loadout that you might want to create.
As always, the Minibak is a high-capacity SMG with plenty of built-in control at the cost of damage per shot. But the high fire rate and reliability of the weapon make it a standout option. In our guide, we’ll go over the best loadout for this recurring submachine gun in Call of Duty: MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 – Best Minibak Loadout
It’s going to take you some grinding to unlock the Minibak in MW2 because it’s one of the last branches in the Kastovia platform tree, but it’s worth the time put in. Once you have it, you’ll have access to two of the most powerful submachine guns in the game. Here are all the attachments you need with their descriptions in order.
- Receiver: Minibak
- Barrel: BAK-9 279mm barrel
- Muzzle: XTEN RR-40
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
- Stock: VLK Stockless
- Laser: STOVL DR Laser Box
The barrel slots are both going to be focused on increasing the damage range and the control of the Minibak in Modern Warfare 2. Bullet Velocity is also another important component for an SMG that struggles beyond close quarters. For this, the BAK-9 279mm Barrel and the XTEN RR-40 muzzle are perfect in this regard.

Unlike many other builds in the game, we don’t want to choose a mix between speed and control for the grip slots. Instead, both the stock and the rear grip will be based entirely on mobility. The True-Tac Grip and the VLK Stockless will ensure that you have the best close-quarters SMG possible.
The laser slot, which is the STOVL DR Laser Box in this case, is our final pick for the Minibak in Modern Warfare 2. It’s the last piece of the puzzle for the mobility we need on the weapon. Not many base weapons have so much built-in control and speed, so taking advantage of that is key.
