Out of the full assault rifle class in Season 2, the M13B is the only remaining DLC AR that can be used in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play. With the new season, the weapon received a few buffs that make it better in both Multiplayer and Warzone 2.
Before you try this weapon out for yourself, you should be aware that it’s the only AR allowed in Ranked Play for a reason. The M13B is still fairly weak compared to other options in the class, but with the right attachments, we can still make the weapon function well enough in the right hands for MW2.
COD MW2 Ranked Play – Best M13B Loadout
At a base level, the M13 happens to have some decent recoil control and a very high fire rate. That means we can build it similarly to the way we would with the TAQ-56, with some small variations based on the platform. All of the necessary attachments can be found below.
M13B Ranked Play Loadout:
- Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon
- Underbarrel: Edge-47 Grip
- Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip
- Stock: Ravage-8
- Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
We start this loadout with the 14″ Bruen Echelon barrel and the Edge-47 Grip underbarrel. The barrel, in this case, is going to offer us a ton of extra range and recoil control, along with some hop fire accuracy that assists us as we aim in. Add the Edge-47 Grip to the mix, and this is where most of our control will come from in COD MW2.
Next, we want to add some speed attachments so we can counter the barrel and ensure that we can utilize the high fire rate at close range. Both the Bruen Flash Grip rear grip and the Ravage-8 stock will allow us to ADS faster and move to each objective with more speed.

The last attachment on the M13B in Ranked Play is the 5.56 High Velocity ammunition which has become a must-have for nearly every AR build in the game. Your bullets will go much faster, and that’s going to help you win fights in MW2 Ranked Play.
