Everyone playing Call of Duty at the end of 2019 remembers how overpowered the 725 shotgun was. Well in Modern Warfare 2, the 725 is back in the form of the Lockwood 300, and it’s fairly easy to unlock compared to so many other weapons in the game.
Like so many other shotguns in the game, the damage range and hip fire potential are the main draws for the Lockwood 300. At times it can feel like a marksman rifle hybrid with the power it brings. We’ll go over exactly how to build it in this loadout for the Lockwood in MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 – Best Lockwood 300 Loadout
When you try to ADS with the Lockwood shotgun, you’ll notice that it takes forever to get the sight up. That’s because most of the pieces to our build will help with speed and hip-fire accuracy. All of the attachments you’ll need for the loadout are listed below.
- Receiver: Lockwood 300
- Barrel: Matuzek 812 Barrel
- Muzzle: Sakin DB107
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Stock: Heist Stock Mod
- Laser: STOVL Tac Laser
There are two attachments on this build that help with range, pellet spread, and accuracy. Those are the Matuzek 812 Barrel and the Sakin BD107 muzzle slot. To ensure that each shot looks like it goes across the map to take out an enemy, these are integral to equip.

Next, we have the Heist Stock Mod and the STOVL Tac Laser. Both additions ensure that the weapon has far more mobility and hip-fire accuracy across the board. Along with the enhancements to range, these two pieces are a necessary part of the equation for the Lockwood 300 in Modern Warfare 2.
Our last attachment is the Merc Foregrip which is used for plenty of weapons within the game. This is another great positive for hip-fire accuracy and range. Control is added with it, but not necessarily for ADS. You’ll certainly feel it there.
