Two new weapons have made their way to Modern Warfare 2 at the start of Season 2, including the KV Broadside shotgun that is now part of the Kastov tree of weapons. Each shot packs a ton of damage on this weapon and it’s also semi-automatic, so there’s no limit to the kill chains.
Some even better news is that the KV Broadside can be unlocked for free through Battle Pass Tokens that are essentially earned like XP. When you have enough tokens to unlock the required sector, the new shotgun is ours. The next step is to build the best loadout possible in MW2, and we’re here to help.
COD MW2 Season 2 – Best KV Broadside Loadout
As a shotgun, our main focus with this build is the rate of fire and damage range. We want each shotgun blast to hit hard, and if we miss, there is no issue at all. Secondary goals should be to increase the mobility of the weapon and enhance the hip fire accuracy to a degree.
KV Broadside Loadout MW2:
- Barrel: Gunner D20
- Muzzle: Bryson Choke
- Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
- Stock: Otrezat Stock
- Bolt: Dashbolt 60
Our barrel attachments are the most important for this build as they increase the damage range and the accuracy of the shotgun. Both the Gunner D20 and the Bryson Choke will ensure that each shot is centered and can kill in one hit. However, they will limit the mobility to an extent.
To help fix the mobility of the weapon, we need two attachments on the back of the shotgun. First, we add the True-Tac Grip for the sprint to fire and the ADS speed. Then we add the Otrezat Stock for another significant boost to sprint-to-fire time and overall speed.

The last attachment is the Dashbolt 60 within the bolt slot of the KV Broadside. This attachment is used to increase the fire rate of the weapon. This is integral to the amount of damage we can get out at a moment’s notice, or to follow up on a first shot within Modern Warfare 2.
