The Expedite 12 is one of the earlier shotguns that you can unlock in Modern Warfare 2 and it’s a great close-quarters weapon with more capacity than the Lockwood. It may not be as powerful as its Bryson counterparts, but with the right loadout, the Expedite can be a fantastic way to clear buildings.
Like most shotguns in the class, we don’t want to focus on our ADS unless you want slugs. Instead, we’re working towards quick room clearing at the hip in the blink of an eye. This loadout guide will go over all the Expedite 12 attachments you need for a loadout in MW2.
Modern Warfare 2 – Best Expedite 12 Loadout
Our goal with this class is to increase the range and mobility of the Expedite while helping the hip fire effectiveness across the board. Taking out enemies without ever using your sight is the name of the game. Each of the attachments you need is listed below.
- Receiver: Expedite 12
- Barrel: 18.5″ Emperor Barrel
- Muzzle: SA MX-50
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Laser: STOVL Tac Laser
- Bolt: Expedite L-Bolt
First up we have the 18.5″ Emperor Barrel which is mainly used for movement speed and some side ADS enhancements. There aren’t really any barrels that offer up some damage range, so this is the second best. For damage range and accuracy, we use the SA MX-50 on the muzzle slot instead.

After our barrel attachments are picked, we move on to the strictly hip fire-based pieces. Both the Merc Foregrip and the STOVL Tac Laser together will ensure that hip fire is lightning fast and accurate at all times. The negatives also aren’t too significant.
The bolt slot is the last piece of the puzzle, and for that we use the Expedite L-Bolt in Modern Warfare 2. This is used for the increased fire rate, and on a shotgun, that almost always means more damage. Follow-up shots never hurt.
