Bloodborne: The Old Hunters DLC (PS4) ($9.99) – 50% off

While Bloodborne is available on PlayStation Plus (Extra), its highly regarded Old Hunters expansion is not. This downloadable content is too important to pass up if you have only experienced the base version of the game. The Old Hunters DLC introduces five new boss fights including the battle against fan-favorite character, Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, as well as an epic brawl against the shrieking Orphan of Kos, arguably the game’s most challenging encounter. Furthermore, with a variety of new weapons, enemies, and exciting locations, any Bloodborne owner who hasn’t played the Old Hunters DLC is strongly urged to venture into the Hunter’s Nightmare.

Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition (PS4 & PS5) ($39.99) – 60% off

While Borderlands 3 was not as well-received as Borderlands 2, fans of first-person shooters, RPGs, and sci-fi space westerns will see huge value in the game’s Ultimate Edition. Skyrim Anniversary Edition (PS4& PS5) + Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y Bundle (PS4) ($31.99) – 60% off

While Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition was included in the first Prima Games’ PlayStation “Summer Sale” buying guide, the PlayStation Store further sweetened the pot by introducing this bundle, which includes Bethesda’s aforementioned PS4 gen post-apocalyptic sci-fi Fallout title, as well as both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the medieval-styled, high fantasy RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Anniversary Edition). This collection comes with both base games, as well as all DLC packs for the game of the year winning RPGs, providing hundreds of hours of entertainment over the course of the bundle’s three games.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition (PS4) ($9.99) – 80% off

Last, but not least is one of, if not the greatest game of the entire PS4 generation, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The action RPG’s “Complete Edition” comes with the 2015 game and all DLC packs are automatically installed, including the eerie “Hearts of Stone” storyline and the massive vampire-oriented “Blood and Wine” expansion that is larger than many other RPGs on the market. Whether you’re a fan of the Netflix show, the books the game is based on by Andrzej Sapkowski, RPGs in general, or simply breathing, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is surely a game that is a must-play at $9.99 and would still be at 10 times that price. Furthermore, with a free PS5 upgrade arriving in the fourth quarter of 2022 for PS4 game owners, now is a great time to buy The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition.
