Baldur’s Gate 3: How to Find the Other Vampire Spawn (BG3)

Time for some shade.

Cazador is gearing up to perform the Rite of Profane Ascension, and Astarion aims to stop him, but first he needs to find some of the other vampire spawn in Baldur’s Gate 3. The good news is that finding them is fairly easy, and getting answers is even easier.

Where to Find the Other Vampire Spawn in Baldur’s Gate 3

As a part of Asterion’s Pale Elf questline, Asterion will eventually want to take the fight to Cazador in Baldur’s Gate. To do that, he’ll first need to get some information from his vampire spawn siblings, who you can find on the second floor of Fraygo’s Flophouse at Wyrm’s Crossing. The easiest way to get here is by going west from the South Span of Wyrm’s crossing portal on the bridge. Simply head into the main door and look for the room that is filled with locked chests guarded by a dwarf.

Finding Dalyria and Petras in BG3

If you head to the left side of the second floor at Fraygo’s Flophouse, you will find a man and a woman named Dalyria and Pale Petras. These two are the other vampire spawn that Astarion is looking for, and when the confrontation begins, it’s clear that they all recognize each other. Make sure to have Astarion with you before approaching as well.

After the greetings are over, Astarion can make it clear that he is looking for Cazador and he wants to end the lord of all the vampire spawn. Dalyria and Pale Petras don’t believe Cazador will kill them all, so Astarion needs to use some violent methods to get the information he needs.

Once you grab Pale Petras and burn his face just enough in the sunlight, you will get the location of Cazador. There are potentially other vampire spawn in Wyrm’s Crossing, but these are the only two you need to find for an easy pinpoint on Cazador. Now all you have to do is stop the Rite of Profane Ascension.

Where is Cazador in BG3?

With enough intimidation, Dalyria will inform you that Cazador is preparing “the Black Mass” beneath his palace in a defiled chapel. Cazador’s palace is the Szarr Palace South Tower. You’ll find it in the very north of the Lower City (coordinates X:-68, Y:-53) right beside Bloomridge Park. If you head to the Lower City Central Wall waypoint, you can enter a tower doorway and climb up a brief flight of stairs. From there, it’s a straight linear pathway up to the palace entrance.

Once you’re inside, you’ll need to get through the sinister door into the lower defiled chapel, which will require a bit of persuasion and sleuthing around the palace.

While you’re intimidating Dalyria and frying vampire spawn in Fraygo’s Flophouse, make sure to use the Flowery Key for your next quest in Baldur’s Gate 3.
