Are There Character Creation Codes in Dragon’s Dogma 2? – Answered

Can I copy your homework?

With one of the most astonishing character creators we’ve seen recently, Dragon’s Dogma 2 lets you make virtually any character you want, be it from fiction or real life. But is there any easy way for you to share your perfect creation with others through a code?

Can You Share Your Created Characters in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

There is currently no way of easily sharing the specifications of any created character in Dragon’s Dogma 2. While games like Nioh or Wo Long: Fallen Destiny feature a Character Creation Code system, in which you get a randomly assigned code for your current character’s “recipe”, there’s no similar system present in Capcom’s latest title.

The mentioned titles are also known for having very interesting character creators themselves, and the code system encourages players to make new figures and share them with others actively. Dragon’s Dogma 2 would benefit incredibly from something like that considering how deep you can customize your character, be it humanoid or a furry person, but it seems like nothing similar is currently planned.

As it stands now, the only way to “share” a character would be by hiring someone’s Pawn, something that was already included in the first game. You can’t directly play as them, though, so that’s a bummer.

While there’s no easy way to do it, that leaves us with the old, hard way. You can copy down all sliders, colors, and specific info to others in a lengthy list, but not only this is very impractical but it’s also quite time-consuming. Alternatively, you can screenshot your sliders and compile them into a single place, but that’s not very practical either. It’s a struggle for both the person doing it and the person copying it.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t do it if you don’t want to, but it’ll be a lot tedious. So unless you’re a very patient person or are just obsessed with someone else’s character and want to play as them, you should probably wait to see if an easier sharing method will ever be added.
