All Tool Upgrades in Fae Farm Listed

You'll be claiming gold with these upgrades.

Diving deep into the world of Azoria requires you to upgrade all of your tools at multiple points throughout the game. You will not be able to progress and complete the story without doing so, as you cannot obtain specific resources required for certain quests. It’s essential that you upgrade tools regularly, and here, you will find every tool in Fae Farm listed.

How to Get Every Tool in Fae Farm

Firstly, there are two varieties of tools. The first category requires you to upgrade them with resources and money. The second category requires you to be at a certain level in the skill as well as part with your hard-earned cash.

  • Resource Based – Axe, Pickax, Sickle, Shovel, Watering Can.
  • Level Based – Rod and Bug Net.

The Staff does not upgrade in the same manner as the other tools. You will need to complete specific segments of the story to unlock new skills that you can swap between freely.

The Best Order to Upgrade Tools In

Regarding the later resource-based tool upgrades, it makes sense to be more strategic about upgrade orders due to the time it takes to collect all of the necessary materials. In my own experience, the following order is the best way to organize upgrades.

  1. Pickax
  2. Axe
  3. Sickle
  4. Watering Can
  5. Shovel

The Pickax upgrade should be the first that you choose every single time. The more upgraded your Pickax is, the easier it is to collect more resources for the rest of the upgrades. The Axe, Sickle, and Shovel all have their place as they are used to collect resources, too, but are in no way used as much as the Pickax.

You will find that upgrading the Watering Can is a huge quality-of-life upgrade to your daily farming experience. When it reaches Iron, it can water a full 3×3 grid in one go, and Silver will do a 5×5. If you are working with hybrid crops, flowers, or just farming in general, this will significantly shorten the time it takes you to water your crops.

Tip:

As of the time of writing, there is a significant bug with the Watering Can spells. If you are wearing a hat, there is a chance that it will block the Watering Can spell from working, and you will be unable to water multiple squares at once. Simply remove the hat to regain the spell benefits.

Once you have upgraded your tools, you will be getting close to ready to take on the Wisp Mother’s quest.
